Cogent worked closely with Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) business leads and subject matter experts to discover, define, and document business system requirements and map as-is and to-be business processes. Cogent worked on-site with the FMH Underwriting Team to define current and future state Policy Management and Processing requirements. Additionally, Cogent facilitated high-level and detailed information gathering sessions with the FMH Claims Team to define requirements and process for Claim Reporting, Management, and Settlement.
Deliverables for the Crop Hail System Migration project included detailed requirements documents for both the Policy and Claim management processes. Cogent also served as a liaison between the Business and Information Services areas to draft functional specifications based on the identified business requirements and to create a series of test plans and numerous test cases to validate Policy and Claim management automated processes.
